Templaterific. I spent all day yesterday afternoon, evening, night, and early this morning, tweaking the new templates from the contest. (Yes, remember that?) There will be 35 or so new designs to choose from. I plan to launch them this week, as well as announcing the winners. (Yes, I originally planned to do that a month ago, but, well, it's more realistic now.) When I had the brilliant idea of having users submit new templates and winning stuff for the effort, I didn't fully think through how much work actually implementing the new designs would be. Seemed like an easy way to get a bunch of new templates and give out some cool sponsor-donated prizes. Well, that it is. Except for the "easy" part. But I should stop complaining. I'll just say this: We're close.
